RED BUTTERFLY WIND CHIME

This wind chime began as a special request from my mother, who wanted a meaningful gift for her dearest friend who loved butterflies. After creating the first one, I decided to list it in my Etsy shop to see if others would love it too.

Not long after, I received an order for six wind chimes—three red and three blue—as Christmas gifts for a group of sisters. It was such an exciting experience and became the beginning of my wind chime collection.

This beautiful wind chime is made of a smooth white clay on the pottery wheel. The beads are handmade with the same clay. After everything is fired once it can then be carefully painted piece by piece. The outside is painted with a nice red glaze, the inside is painted a pale orange glaze. The colors perfectly accent each other. The different shaped beads are painted the same colors and some plain white to match the butterfly outline.

After the glaze is applied all the pieces can then be fired again. Followed by putting them all together in a specific order so they make a perfect sound when that smooth breeze comes your way.

They are hand made and painted to order so please allow time for them to arrive. My current ship time is set for 3 to 4 weeks. I do try to have things out between 2 and 3 weeks but depending on my orders and the size of your order this time can vary. You wont regret your order! Each one comes out beautiful and unique.
